Turbine Generator Maintenance, Inc.®, TGM, is the premier solution provider for turbine and generator inspection, testing, and repair. We service power generation equipment for the power industry including co-generation, independent power producers, municipalities, and utilities from 220MW steam and gas turbines to small industrial line drive turbines.

Since 1986, TGM has consistently provided expert field service inspections, repairs, and operational support for steam and gas turbine generator sets throughout the US, Caribbean and the Americas.

Since 2009, TGM has also provided detailed generator testing and analysis, and field repair on generators and exciters. TGM is turnkey and project-management based, focused on units operated by independent power producers, cogenerators, and other power producers that require the shortest outage durations to support availability requirements.

training Turbine Generator Maintenance, Inc.®, TGM, was founded in 1986 by Anthony Collins as a steam turbine and generator maintenance company. After fifteen years of success, one of our good customers asked if we would consider working on combustion turbines and generators. In 2009, a generator service division was added to support electrical inspections, testing, and field repair of turbo generators from 300 MVA and below.

Our Training and Logistics Center—our tool facility, logistics center, and training center, all in one—is strategically located in Knoxville, Tennessee due to its central location and proximity to major interstate systems. Additionally, we strategically place tool sets throughout the United States and in Latin America to provide quick response to our customer’s needs.

Twice a year, our field personnel are trained in all areas of TGM-provided services and processes, including safety, quality, technical growth, and team building. TGM’s offices are located in Cape Coral, Florida. We have technical field crew representation throughout the United States and remote locations in the Caribbean and South America.

proutage Gebnerator For more than a quarter of a century, TGM has been performing turnkey inspections and repairs on steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, and associated equipment for the majority of segments within the utility and heavy industrial markets.

During this time we have performed turnkey inspections on most all manufacturers of steam turbine generator units up to 220MWs, including GE, Siemens/Westinghouse, MHI, Nuevo Pignone, Man, Francantari, Allis Chalmers, ABB VAX, Alstom, Turbodyne, Elliott, Worthington, Fugi, Peter Brotherhood, Brush, EM, BBC and Dresser Rand. TGM also provides turnkey turbine generator services for many GE, Siemens/Westinghouse, Hitachi, Fiat, and MHI gas turbine generator sets. TGM supplies the project management, project coordination, supervision, labor, tooling, parts sourcing, startup support, and warranty for these outages, bringing you a total turnkey package.

TGM’s services include inspection, repairs, maintenance, refurbishments, relocations, and much more.

David-Branton As CEO, David Branton's goal is to develop TGM into a premier turbine generator service company that is known as process driven in everything that it does. The cornerstone of TGM is people, and our processes define the qualifications and the positions of each person.

In order for qualified people to do their job, they must have the right tools. TGM has developed processes around the types of tools required to do particular jobs and has developed highly organized and quality tool sets to make those tools efficient to use.

When you have the right people and the right tools, you must have processes that assure that the work is done right the first time. TGM has developed work packages, checklists, schedules, and data sheets to assure that our employees have the right instructions to do their job right, the first time.

Finally, when you have the right people, the right tools, and the right work processes, it takes a team to make each project successful. TGM has developed highly refined Turbine Generator Service Teams to perform the work. By constantly working together, their effectiveness continues to improve.
